You can't always think things Are going to stay the way you left them six months ago.

You can't just drift off.

in someone's life.

And come back again.

And pretend Nothing really happened.

Things changed. 

She started loving someone else. 

When you left the picture, I guess.

You can't force what's not yours.

You can't make someone love you. 

when they don't.

Just let her go and be free.

Since she's no longer yours to begin with.
