Young Love



He was from the Projects

She was from the City.

He was a boy from the projects .

And she was the girl  from the city's.

He came from the projects where it was rough  And tough.

Where people made it through the dark nights  cause of the sad times.

She knew him 

other people didn't,.

They thought he was trouble.

Since he was from the projects they thought he couldn't live the life certain people did,

Where they never cared for him. 

But she did.

She believed him when no one else did.

When you see the projects you see the streets. filled with gangsters,

Streets filled with guns 

And people out here selling drugs  or either end up dead,

She was from a town with lights.

A town filled with love and friendly folks.

Where you'd feel appreciated.

Wherever you go.

A town where you'd feel like  your at home.

She liked him.

And she knew there was something different about him.

And yet thats what made things so beautiful .
